The health, safety and welfare of all involved on and around our construction sites remain our top priority. All site personnel undergo continued training, both in-house and with external specialist companies, and staff training needs are assessed annually across all job functions.
Only subcontractors who have a UKAS Accredited SSIP are accepted. We have won several awards, including Safe Contractor of the Year, with both a major retailer and major oil company.
Nearly all our staff are fully trained in First Aid (including our receptionists) and all site personnel are required to have a specific level of training prior to working on our sites. This includes NVQ level 4 (CSCS), UKPIA Passport, First Aid, Fire Warden and any other job- specific training. All site managers are SMSTS qualified and, like all other employees, undergo a constant review of training needs.
We operate very strict safety management standards, which are reviewed and audited annually as part of our DNV (Det Norske Veritas) safety management system.
